Featuring violin soloist Markiyan Melnychenko and in collaboration with Corpus Medicorum, Melbourne’s premier orchestra of doctors, dentists and health professionals, we are delighted to invite you to experience a fabulous night of entertainment and world class music to celebrate this milestone year since your graduation.

This special event is brought to you live, with music recorded during stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne.

Corpus Medicorum brings together talented musicians whose professional lives are devoted to public health. The orchestra is a creative outlet for these hardworking experts, founded in 2002 by Royal Melbourne Hospital Cardiothoracic Surgeon and violist Mr Phillip Antippa (MBBS 1991).

Professor John Prins, Head of the Melbourne Medical School and Mr Phillip Antippa, will join you at the end of the concert for a conversation in which they will share their experiences from 2020 of life as a surgeon and orchestra director during a global pandemic, and the challenges of running Australia’s oldest medical school from a home office.

Your Virtual Class Catch-up which will commence at 7:00pm following the concert.

Hosted by your Reunion Champions, this networking event will be a chance for you to catch up with classmates from your MBBS graduating year via Zoom.

Taking place directly after the Virtual Reunion Concert, this is a fun way to continue celebrating with your cohort group online. Dress up, bring a glass of wine, indulge in a cheese platter and enjoy some conversation.

There is sure to be laughter, and smiles, and awkward Zoom moments, but memories will be made in this year of firsts and this could be one of the best! Don’t miss out!
