Assistant Vice-Chancellor Health interviews COVID-19 experts, 19 February 2020
Following the Doherty Institute breakthrough in late January – where researchers successfully grew the coronavirus – Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Professor Shitij Kapur, sat down with Drs Julian Druce and Mike Catton to discuss how they achieved such a rapid response, and Professors Kanta Subbaroa and Sharon Lewin to discuss treatments, vaccines and taking a One Health approach to prevent outbreaks of this kind.
