  • Do I need to book tickets?

    Bookings are required for most Reunion Weekend events and places are limited. Please visit individual event listings on our program page for details.

    Click here to go to the Reunion Weekend booking page. This page allows you to secure your ticket for your class reunion (if it is your year to celebrate) and any other events you may be interested in across the weekend.

    Commitment to Sustainability

    The University of Melbourne is committed to promoting sustainable transport options for all Students, Staff and Visitors and as such, recommends visitors choose active or public transport as a means of getting to Reunion Weekend. Here is some information on getting to our Parkville Campus sustainably, along with details on where you can park, should driving be necessary.

    Public Transport

    Public Tansport Victoria Journey Planner - Enter your current location and travel destination and be provided with personalised instructions of tram, train and bus connections that will assist you getting to the Melbourne University Campus.

    Taxi/Uber

    With construction works taking place around the Campus and the greater area, taxi may be a good option for you. Most Reunion Weekend Events can be easily accessed by getting dropped off near Tin Alley or Monash Rd.

    Driving

    On street Carparking

    On street parking is available on Royal Parade, Cemetery Road and College Crescent. A number of on street carparks are available around Leicester and Bouverie Streets.

    Paid University Parking

    You may choose to park in one of the University's carparks across Reunion Weekend. On Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November the usual parking rates will apply:

    • $10 for up to 4 hours
    • $20 for all day parking
    • $8 when entering after 5pm

    On Saturday 30 November a special discounted all day rate of $5 will be available at University Square Carpark and Royal Parade Carpark (Brain Centre).

    University Square Carpark

    Entry: Entrance at 244 Bouverie Street or 206 Berkeley Street. Click here for map

    Hours: Monday - Sunday 6:00am to 10:00pm

    Payment:

    • Press the casual entry button at the gate.
    • Upon exit, the boom gate will indicate the amount owing and you’ll be able to pay with your debit or credit card at the gate.
    • To pay with cash, you’ll need to pay at the pay machines located on level 1 prior to exiting the car park. To pay at this machine you’ll need to remember your vehicle’s licence plate number.

    For assistance: Please use the intercoms at the vehicle entries, exits and at the pay machines.

    Royal Pde Carpark

    Entry: Via Royal Parade, located between Genetics Lane and Medical Road (beneath Kenneth Myer Building). Click here for map

    Hours: Monday - Sunday 6:00am to 10:00pm

    Payment:

    • You’ll need to scan your debit or credit card to enter the carpark.
    • Upon exit, the boom gate will indicate the amount owing and you’ll be able to pay with your debit or credit card at the gate.
    • You cannot pay with cash at this location.

    For assistance: Please use the intercoms located near the pay machines next to the lift.

    Eastern Precinct Carpark

    Entry: 375 Cardigan Street, Carlton, near the corner of Elgin Street. Click here for map

    Hours: Monday - Sunday 6:00am to 10:00pm

    Fees and Charges: $8.00 per day on the weekend and $5 after hours (from 5pm).

    Payment:

    You’ll need to scan your debit or credit card to enter the carpark.

    • Upon exit, the boom gate will indicate the amount owing and you’ll be able to pay with your debit or credit card at the gate.
    • You cannot pay with cash at this location.

    For assistance: Please press the intercom located at the front entry to the car park.

  • How do I find my way around campus?

    It may have been a number of years since you visited the University. For this reason, we have set up a Reunion Weekend Hub, located at University House on Professor’s walk (112 Professor’s Walk). At the Hub, you will be able to check-in for your events, pick up a map, have a free coffee or tea, grab something to eat and even find someone who can show you to your event!

  • Can I bring my children?

    In most cases, children are very welcome to attend Reunion Weekend events with their parents. With the exception of young babies, most cohort reunions are adult only events. Please contact the Alumni team on +61 3 9035 7869 to check the suitability of individual events for your children before making a booking. A parent’s lounge will be available for parents of very young children within University House on Professor’s Walk (112 Professor’s Walk).

  • Where can I find accommodation close to campus?

    If you are travelling, or if you would just like to stay somewhere close to campus, we have arranged some special rates at two hotels nearby:

  • It is not my year to celebrate a milestone reunion. Can I still attend Reunion Weekend?

    Yes. In fact we recommend it! This year, we have a huge program, with many different events on offer across the weekend that are open to all Alumni from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. There’s sure to be something to interest you.

    Update your details to ensure you continue receiving communications from us, including news, event invitations and more.

  • Refund policy

    Refunds will be granted for cancellations received in writing ten (10) days or more prior to the event date. Cancellations after this date forfeit the total purchase amount. If for any reason an event is cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund of the total purchase amount. Please email mdhs-reunion@unimelb.edu.au for more information.

  • Class lists

    View your class list to find out who is invited to your reunion and who we have lost contact with.

  • Can I bring a guest?

    Alumni are most welcome to bring a guest to Reunion Weekend. Bookings are essential, so simply choose ‘add a guest’ when you are making your online event bookings.
