Message from the Dean, 1 June 2020

Today I acknowledge Country during National Reconciliation Week and celebrate the resilience and leadership of Indigenous communities. The theme for 2020 is In this together and I don't think we could have chosen three better words as we continue to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this video update I also discuss:

  • The release of the University's roadmap for a safe return to campus
  • As schools across the state begin to reopen, the latest episode in our 'Life Beyond Coronavirus: The Expert View' series asks Are the kids alright?
  • We are building a COVID-19 collection for the University to record the response to the pandemic among our community, and we're calling on students, staff, researchers and colleagues in the health sector to think about the stories we want to preserve for future generations

I hope you are keeping safe and well. If you'd like to share your stories or experiences with me during this time, you can always get in touch.
