Dr Jennifer Perret, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health - Professional Excellence and Innovation

Dr Perret was nominated for “outstanding leadership of multi-disciplinary teams contributing to a diverse research program to improve respiratory health”. She describes feeling a great sense of achievement when receiving recognition for her work, especially as reward and recognition are sometimes rare.

In mid-November 2023, Dr Perret and her team will attend Parliament House to demonstrate their COPD risk calculator and some of the MDHS Staff Excellence Award prize money will go towards funding improvements to the calculator ahead of that meeting.
