About
Donor: Colleagues and friends to commemorate Professor Concetta Benn's term as a professor in the Department of Social Work. Professor Concetta Benn (1926 - 2011) was one of Victoria’s most significant and innovative leaders in the field of social work, human services and social policy development.
Benefits
Two bursaries of $500 each available.

Eligibility
Awarded to one or more students enrolled in the course for the degree of master of Social Work or any other comparable degree in its place in that discipline. Preference will be given to a student who, as an adult, migrated to Australia from a non-English speaking country.
Application
Candidates should write a letter of application, providing the following information:
- Details of their financial position in relation to their attendance in the course;
- The name and value of any other award or financial assistance they receive;
- Information which is relevant to the specific objective of the scholarships, as described in eligibility requirements.
Eligible students must also complete an online Financial Assessment Form - must be submitted by 6 August 2023.
If any applicant wishes to be considered for more than one award, a separate application letter must be lodged for each, but the financial assessment form need be provided only once.
Applications should be addressed to the Head of Department, Professor Louise Harms and submitted online via the application form.
Outcome
Recipients of the scholarship will be advised in writing.
