The Patricia Eileen Hyams Scholarships in Cancer and Palliative Care Nursing

The Bruce Hyams Foundation made a gift to honour Mrs Patricia Hyams, who completed her training at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne as a registered nurse and graduated in 1939.
Eligible students must be admitted to the GC-NPCPC Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice (Cancer and Palliative Care) and have completed the first subject in the course, NURS90076 Applied Pathophysiology.
The scholarship will be awarded to the current student in GC-NPCPC Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice (Cancer and Palliative Care) who have achieved the highest mark in NURS90076 Applied Pathophysiology in each semester.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in the GC-NPCPC Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice (Cancer and Palliative Care) and have completed the first subject, NURS90076 Applied Pathophysiology.
Selection will be determined by the school-level committee (comprising of the Course Coordinators, at least 2 academic staff members and one professional staff member), with final decisions approved by the Head of Nursing Department (School of Health Sciences).

The winner will be invited to the Graduation and Award Ceremony scheduled on 6th April 2017
