About
Donor: The late Royal Daniel Phillips, who was a corporal in the Light Horse Regiment in WW1.
The award is to provide bursaries or scholarships to assist in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Benefits
$30,000. Three awards valued at $10,000 each.

Eligibility
To be considered for this award, students must:
- Be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine; and
- Have submitted a Student Financial Assessment form.
Selection
Recipients will be selected by the Melbourne Medical School Scholarships and Bursary Allocation Committee made up of senior professional and academic staff members of the School. The selection of recipients is based on the applicant’s financial aid ranking as provided by the University Scholarships office.
Application
Students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form (Round one) by the closing date.
Outcome
Students will be notified of the student bursary outcomes in late May.
