Donor: Funded from a generous donation from Dr. Irene Stanley BSc(Hons) PhD, a long-serving lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

The Award will made annually from the income of the fund to an undergraduate student who has completed one or more subjects in Biochemistry and has achieved academic excellence in the discipline of Biochemistry.

Eligibility

Awarded to the second year student with the highest aggregate mark in the second year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology subjects (BCMB20002 Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and BCMB20005 Techniques in Molecular Science).

Selection

All students who completed both subjects in the previous calendar year will have results reviewed to determine the student with the highest aggregate mark.

Selection based on results as per the eligibility criteria.

Outcome

Most merit based prize recipients will be advised in writing in Semester One of the following academic year.
