Donor: 2/9th Australian Field Ambulance Unit Association to commemorate the services of the late Colonel Hedley Frank Summons MBBS (1972), PGDLA (1933) to Australia in peace and war, his services to the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and his services in the Military Forces and also in honour and recognition of him as the Commanding Officer of the 2/19 Field Ambulance Unit and as first President of the Association.

Eligibility

This prize exam Is open final and penultimate year University of Melbourne Doctor of Medicine students.

Selection

The prize exam consists of a one-hour written examination (short-answer and picture questions). Shortlisted candidates may then be invited to attend an additional viva examination.

Application

Registration is via online form. Registration is not open for 2018.

Outcome

Students will be notified about whether an oral examination will be taking place, and if they were shortlisted or not via their registered email.
