This program is supported by the Victorian State Government to assist Rural Allied health professionals to undertake professional development and Post Graduate study to improve health services, increase retention of skilled workers and improve job satisfaction.

Benefits
- Graduate Diploma- Eligible to claim $5,000 - 50 % on completion of each semester.
- Graduate Certificate $2,500 - 50% on completion of each semester.
- Need to commence study during 2017-2018 financial year

Eligibility
Must be employed in rural Victoria. (ASGC RA2-5) on a permanent or contracted basis. Must be an Australian citizen and permanent resident. Course or subject applied for must be related to area of employment and be of potential benefit to the health of the local community.

Selection
Allied Health Professional with at Batchelor qualification. Committed to on-going work in the Rural Victoria health services. Can provide feedback to show that the study applied for will assist the local communities health needs.
Application
Need to fill out an application form which can be accessed at https://www.rwav.com.au/professional-development/grants/ - Including a copy of Curriculum Vitae - 2 written references- including one from a supervisor. This is a Victorian Government grant.
Outcome
Applicants will receive notification of outcome within 2 weeks of closing dates via email.
