Eligibility

Awarded to the student completing a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Major in any year who has the highest aggregate score in the two core subjects, BCMB30010 Advanced Techniques in Molecular Science (or its successor) and BCMB30012 Current Advances in Molecular Science (or its successor), combined with the aggregate scores in the best two electives that contribute to the major.

Selection

Students who graduate in the previous year with a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major nominated on study plan will have results in BCMB30010 and BCMB30012 and major elective subjects reviewed to determine the student with the highest aggregate mark in the subjects that comprise the major.

Selection based on results as per the eligibility criteria.

Outcome

Most merit based prize recipients will be advised in writing in Semester One of the following academic year.
