Prof Roy Robins-Browne wins Teaching Excellence award

Professor Roy Robins-Browne from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, School of Biomedical Sciences is the recipient of the 2016 University of Melbourne David White Award for Teaching Excellence.

“This prestigious award recognises outstanding achievements and excellence in higher education and reflects the dedication, quality and enthusiasm Roy continues to show for teaching in medical microbiology,” said Professor Elizabeth Hartland, Head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.

We join everyone in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in congratulating Roy on this achievement and thankiing him for setting such a high standard in teaching.

The David White Award includes a trophy and a grant of $10,000 and is one of three Excellence in Teaching Awards that the University confers annually.
