Shawana Andrews is a Palawa woman of the Trawlwoolway clan, Trowunna. She has a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Public Health, and has worked for 14 years in Aboriginal health in project management, program development, teaching, community development and direct service delivery. Ms Shawana Andrews was appointed Lecturer in Aboriginal Health at the Melbourne School of Health Sciences in 2012 and has also led the development of Billibellary's Walk at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus.
